Description

We mix 100% cacao (like the real Aztec drink,) 1o0% vanilla hydrosol (like the real Aztec drink,) white cinnamon (not ceylon cinnamon, but the lighter local cinnamon leaves for the Aztecs), and Mexican local chilil peppers from the Chiapas. We also keep a degree of cacao butter in the brew much like the pre-industrial recipe that would have been a carrier of the taste. So the drink has a thick and rich consistency.

There are not other known spices that were in the Aztecs’ drink. (You may add an alcohol base of choice if you want to kick it up for your bar or brewing though. Common mixers are Baileys or Kahlua or Rum or Grand Marnier.)
